What is mobile diamond cut alloy repair?

Mobile diamond cut alloy repair is diamond cut alloy repair which comes to you! It relies on a specialised expert coming to your location in a purpose-fitted van to carry out professional wheel repairs. For diamond repairs, a diamond-tipped cutting lathe is required, as this is what allows for a very thin layer of the alloy to be shaved off.

Using this lathe is how we achieve the unique and prestigious look of diamond cut alloys, which is often associated with class and usually seen on high-end vehicles. Often, diamond cut alloys are said to resemble a CD or DVD in terms of the two toned shine they give off, and this is because of the fine cutting process they go through.

Until recently, diamond cut wheels were something you’d have to take your vehicle into a workshop for. Often at the expense of extra time and money, especially when seeking the highest quality of repair. This is because a diamond cutting lathe is a highly technical piece of equipment, which typically takes up lots of space, and is too heavy to be easily transported.

However, our innovative repair partners developed a first-of-its-kind repair van with all the necessary equipment for high end diamond cut repairs. This is why we are now able to offer mobile diamond cut repair as a service. Type in your town below to book repairs.

How does mobile diamond alloy repair work?

After booking a mobile diamond wheel repair, one of our technicians will come to your preferred location, be it at home or your workplace and get to work. The wheel(s) being repaired will be removed from your car, the tyre(s) deflated and pushed back over the edge of the rims, and placed onto the mobile micro lenco lathe.

Then, this machine will use bespoke operating software to deliver a pinpoint cutting process which leaves your wheel looking as good as new, quickly, conveniently, and without risk of damage.

After this, it’s as simple as applying a lacquer to add extra, long-term protection, reattaching your wheels, and driving away!

When do I need an alloy wheel repair?

Scuffed alloys - Minor scrapes and scratches on the surface level of your alloy wheels.

Cracked alloys - Often caused by strong impact or jolts from a pothole, cracked alloys can inhibit the structural integrity of your wheels, which can be very dangerous.

Buckled alloys - Can come in the form of small bends or entirely folded alloy wheels. These are normally caused by impact or crashes with other vehicles.
